Opticeuticals is the public reference for the category of optimized nutraceuticals. The category is defined and stewarded by Atumnus Life Sciences.
Working Definition
Opticeuticals exists to name a category that previously had no name, publish a standard that governs membership in it, and maintain that standard as the science and supply-chain practice evolve.
The nutraceutical category became too broad to communicate distinctions within it. A higher-tier subset existed in practice for years before there was a vocabulary for it. The Opticeutical designation supplies that vocabulary, anchored to a published standard that any product can be measured against.
