Professor Vladimir Khavinson (1946–2024) and the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology produced 775 published papers and 196 patents across 53 years of research into short-chain peptide bioregulators.
The compounds existed. The research was published. Consumer-accessible formulations built on that research lineage did not exist in the US market. Opticeuticals closes that gap.

The mechanism
Short-chain peptides (2–7 amino acids) cross cell membranes, enter the nucleus, and bind directly to DNA promoter sequences — activating tissue-specific gene expression that age, disease, and stress have depleted.
